How will you work around Shabbat?Everyone helping on Saturday will be volunteers and all the food Saturday is pre-prepped on Friday and refrigerated. We do not require any staffing on Saturday for our group. If there is another group on campus, they may require staffing but not for us.
Where is the closest airport?Dallas Love Field (which only services Southwest) (DAL) OR Dallas International Airport (DFW)
What's the minimum age to attend the conference?14 years old (girls only)
What about babies? It's highly encouraged that you leave the baby with dad for the weekend in order to be fair to all the women there to relax and recharge. Speakers are flying in from all over to impart their wisdom and encouragement and we aim to keep distractions at a minimum. If you have a non-mobile, breastfeeding baby, you are welcome to bring him/her. You must have a private room OR be rooming with someone who doesn't mind a baby in the room (like Grandma or Auntie)
Are masks, vaccinations or negative covid testing required to attend? No
What about Refunds?Refunds will not be issued after March 1st, 2023. You can give your ticket to another lady or try to sell it after that.
What is the Mission of the Surge Conference? To promote unity (not sameness) among the body; to gather like minded women; to provide classes for those new to Torah and veterans of Torah alike; to encourage and grow the daughters of Yah. All speaker opinions and teachings are not necessarily the opinions of Younity Fitness Inc. Even the speakers most likely do not agree on every point. We hope to bring different views on subjects in order to grow and sharpen and have safe discussions and questions while not compromising on the foundational faith and belief in the one true God, Yah and his Son, our Messiah. Let's reason together! What should I expect at Surge? Expect to be pampered a little, surprised at times, and loved a lot. Expect to hear a ton of insightful, convicting, unifying, awesome messages that encourage and challenge you to dig deeper plus a little bit of stuff you won't agree with but you find yourself okay with because we are reasoning together, growing together and respectful of everyone's journey to walk with their King. Expect a lot of "Yah moments". Expect to move pretty quickly through the conference but with very pointed downtime to rejuvenate. Expect to meet a lot of new ladies and have a really good time and shed some tears and share a lot of laughs. Expect an overwhelming feeling of love and unity that might take days to come down from after the conference. Afterall, everything is bigger and better in Texas! Feel the Surge....
